Joyn is free for members and free for hosts. There is no subscription, no paid tier, no boosted listings and no charge to post or join a plan. We do not sell member data.
Any money that changes hands at a plan today (a badminton court split, a trek operator's own fee, the bill at a cafe) is between the people there. It does not go through Joyn.
Coming soon: paid plans
When paid plans launch, this is what changes and what stays the same:

The platform fee will be a small percentage of the ticket price, the same for every host, published here before the first ticket is sold. GST on the platform fee is shown separately where it applies.
What we will never charge for
- Reporting, blocking, safety check-ins or verification.
- Seeing who is nearby or who joined a plan.
- Being ranked higher in the feed. Placement is by distance, time and host reliability only.
